Musiclinks
musiclinks.png

The musiclinks patch is used to share musical controls over the network between multiple computers during a performance. This patch needs to be part of your MPG performance patch. If you are testing without the group, it will often be necessary to run it in master mode, so that you have sufficient control. During performance, the role of master should be coordinated so that other machines are not confused.

The functions of the patch are divided into 3 parts by color. The first section is shaded deep purple and handles matters of network connectivity. The medium purple section handles information related to pitch and its related musical parameters. This is followed by the light purple section that handles tempo information.
