general description

Students will work with a live acoustic source in real-time and modify its usual sound using methods commonly found in effects pedals and more sophisticated techniques employed by sound designers. These techniques are distinctive because they transform an acoustic input to produce sound events.

  • Identify acoustic instrument, microphone to be used and extra controllers early.
  • Setup wiki page to document techniques used, development process and final results.
  • Must have system workflow diagram to explain connection between instrument, controllers and computer.
